Huge Savings No Mere Fabrication!

It is possible to make a collection of small saving in various areas of your energy consumption to then accumulate a real significant saving, and this is often what is expected from the customer. However the truth can paint a different story, our distributors tell us from their ‘frontline’ experience that big savings can be made very quickly with the installation of Eniscope and maybe just one other load-side product. In this case a 23% saving immediately with much more to come. Take this example from a textiles company in Africa, where obviously keeping things cool is not only essential but costly. The following is an account from one of our top African Distributors, “We have about maybe 7 solid clients now. One of them is Textiles Limited, and they are the largest producers of Wire Springs here and Eniscope is working there very successfully. So far we’ve installed I think about 6 or 7 Eniscopes and they have done successful trials on Air Conditioning Energy Sensors. Very successful. We found that when we installed one Air Conditioning Energy Sensor that could get 23% savings for their air conditioner. We have found about 55 of such Air Conditioning Energy Sensors and so they are preparing to place another for that project to take off. They have also tried our motors—I mean, our speed drives and starters – that is soft starters – and we have discovered that on one set of motors, which are fans, if we use a drive we can save between 58% and 60% on each of them.
And we have also found that if we are using the soft starter we can see between 35% and 45% on each of these fans. And this test will run for a very long time so there’s no doubt about it. Then, very recently, we moved to some pumps and there we did a trial and we discovered that on one particular pump we are saving 58% of energy for this pump. And so that saving encouraged them to place further for 2 speed drives which I’ve already sent part of the transfer to Enigin to be able to supply us. Once we have installed this too, we are moving on to the other parts of the factory to start working on the other 60 fans. So it has been quite interesting with these textiles company and I am sure that it is going to be one of our biggest success stories here!”
